The COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL EXAMINATION (TIER –I)
2013, which was scheduled to be held on 14th April 2013 in Eastern Region,
was postponed to 28.04.2013, as the Government had declared 14.04.2013 a
closed holiday on account of the Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The
examination has further been postponed to 19.05.2013 due to administrative
reason.


No paper Admission certificate will be issued for the examination to be
held on 19.05.2013. Facility of downloading Admit cards for the revised date
will be provided on the website of this Regional Office, i.e. www.sscer.org.
Candidates are advised to download the same ten (10) days before the
examination. Admission certificates issued for 14.04.2013 will not be allowed
for appearing in the examination.

Qualification :-a) Ph. D in the field of Education. Candidates with a background in Educational Measurements would be prefered. At least 5 years experience in the relevant field, of which at least 3 years should be in the field of e-content development and deployment and at least 2 years in teaching/training. Ideal candidates should be thoroughly familiar with Outcome Based learning, CAL, study of effectiveness of instruction. Familarity with SPSS and basic Statistics is highly desirable.
b) A Masters/Bachelors degree in Humanities / Commerce is essential. Good knowledge of Accounting/ Finance would be an added advantage. Formal training in computer appllication from any reputable computer training institute/ State Govt / Govt of India training organization is desirable. A mininimum of 15 years’ of experience as Project Assistant in administration and accounts in a reputable organization(s), of which at least 10 years should be in a large ICT based education related project. 
c) B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks from reputed University/ Institute. Minimum 2 years experience in computer networking, JAVA script, PHP, Web based application design and knowledge with MySQL database desirable.The candidate must have working experience in LINUX environment. 
d) i) B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical Engineering or MCA with minimum 60% marks from reputed University/ Institute. Minimum 6 years experience in computer networking, JAVA script, PHP, Maintenance of Web server and project website.The candidate must have working experience in LINUX environment. 
ii) A Masters/Bachelors degree in Commerce is essential. Good knowledge of Accounting/ Finance would be an added advantage. Formal training in computer appllication from any reputable computer training institute/ State Govt / Govt of India training organization is desirable. A mininimum of 5 years experience in administration and accounts in a reputable organization(s), of which at least 3 years should be in a large ICT based education related project. The candidate should be thoroughly familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel in Particular). Good familiarity with “Math Type” software for typing Mathematical documents is highly desirable.

INDIAN AIR FORCE Recruitment May 2013 - AIRMEN IN GROUP „X‟ (TECHNICAL) TRADES


Indian Air Force invites application from UNMARRIED MALE INDIAN CITIZENS (citizens of Nepal are also eligible) for selection test in August 2013 to join as Airmen in Group „X‟ (Technical) trades.
(THE SELECTION TEST IS NOT FOR SELECTION AS COMMISSIONED OFFICERS/ PILOTS/ NAVIGATORS)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Educational Qualification
(a) Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination with Mathematics, Physics and English, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
(b) Three year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with minimum 50% marks in overall aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma.
Note : - Exact aggregate percentage of marks up to first place of decimal for all subjects as mentioned in the Mark Sheet of Intermediate/10+2/equivalent/Diploma (For example, 49.9% should NOT be rounded off to 50%).
Date of Birth Block. Candidate should be born between 01 September 1993 to 30 December 1996 (both days inclusive).

President, Central Airmen Selection Board reserves the right to shortlist the applications on the basis of available vacancies and number of eligible applicants.
Medical Standards

(a) General Medical Standards for Group „X‟ (Technical) trades are as follows: -
(i) Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cms.
(ii) Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm
(iii) Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
(iv) Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) not acceptable.
(v) Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
(vi) Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
(vii) Health: Candidate should be free from medical or surgical deformity. He should be free from all communicable diseases and skin ailments. Candidate must be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain

Monthly Pay. During training, a stipend of Rs. 8,550/-per month will be paid. On completion of training, starting gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay including Dearness Allowance (DA), for Group „X‟ (Technical) trades will be Rs. 21,414/- per month (approximately), which, in subsequent years, may rise up to Rs. 37,788/- per month (approximately) depending upon the rank attained.
