of Spatial Decision Support System for Watershed based micro level planning
using Geoinformatics for Drought prone areas of West Bengal’ project:, as per the details given below:

Qualification
:- 1.
Master’s degree in Geology/ Applied Geology/ Geography/ RS & GIS/
Environmental Science/ Soil Science/ Agriculture/ Bachelors degree in Civil
Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information
Technology or equivalent with 60% marks.
2.
At least two years’ working experience of software development/ customization
of GIS software in the relevant field.

Qualification
:- 1. Master’s degree in Geology/ Applied Geology/
Geography/ RS & GIS/ Environmental Science/ Soil Science/ Agriculture/

or equivalent with 60% marks

Must have studied Geoinformatics or equivalent as a subject at UG level or above.
Age for both Posts:- 35 years as on last date of submission of application form for
both the posts. (Relaxation = SC/ST - 5 years; OBC- 3 years; PH-
10 years;)

List of eligible candidates for interview is expected to be published in the Departmental
website (www.dstwb-council.gov.in and www.wbscst.org.in) by 16th September,
2013 indicating date and time of interview. No call letter will be issued in this
regard.

In case of large number of applications, candidates will be shortlisted on the
basis of criteria to be fixed by the Selection Committee. Decision of Selection
Committee is final.

If required, written/ practical tests may be conducted.
7.
Candidates with incomplete applications will not be considered.
8.
WBSCST has the discretion to relax the maximum age limit for candidates with higher
qualifications and longer experience.
