Scale of Pay :- Rs.15600 – 39100/- + GP Rs.6000/-
Qualification :- A candidate should possess a Master’s
Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with at least 55%
of marks or its equivalent grade with a 2nd Class in the Bachelor’s Degree. Provided
that candidates belonging to the Scheduled castes and Scheduled Tribes should possess
a Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with at
least 50% marks or its equivalent grade with a 2nd Class in the Bachelor’s
Degree.
NET shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment
as Lecturer for those with postgraduate degree, but the candidates having Ph.D.
Degree on the concerned subject shall be eligible and exempted from the
requirement of NET/SLET/SET
Age:- A
candidate must be under 40 (forty) years and above 21 (twenty one) years of age
on the 1st January
2013 i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd January 1973 and not later than 1st January 1992.(Relaxation = SC/ST - 5 years; OBC- 3 years; PH- 10 years;)

(2) Last Date For Receipt of Application Fee At Any Branch of State Bank of India (S.B.I.) Is 28.02.2014.
(3) Last Date For Receipt of Print Out/Hard Copy of Online Application
Alongwith Copy Of Specified Documents/ Certificates Is 10.03.2014 By 5.00 P.M.
Examination Fee (Non-Refundable) :- A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and
non-adjustable fee of Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred) only. Candidates belonging
to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe of Odisha & persons with disability are
exempted from payment of this fee.
The candidates are required to take a printout of the
finally submitted Online Application Form for future use and take a printout of
Online Challan (Pay-in-Slip) for payment of requisite fee at any branch of
State Bank of India (SBI). The fee(s) paid shall not be refunded under any
circumstances nor can the fee(s) be adjusted or held in reserve for any other
examination or recruitment.
How to Apply :- Interested & Eligible Candidates may Apply Online at below link. Candidates are required to
send the Printout/Hard copy of the Online Application Form duly signed under
the declaration along with OPSC copy of Fee deposit Challan (wherever
applicable) and requisite certificates & documents etc. as provided under para-9
of the long advertisement available in the website of OPSC, by Registered Post/Speed
Post/Courier Service to the Special Secretary, Odisha Public Service Commission,
19, Dr. P.K. Parija Road, Cuttack-753001 so as to reach the same in OPSC on or
before 10.03.2014. The SC/ST & Persons with Disabilities candidates are not
required to enclose the copy of Challan showing payment of fee.
The envelope containing the application must be superscribed
“APPLICATION FOR LECTURER IN................... (Concerned subject) and Advertisement
No.” Application received after the closing date shall not be entertained. The
Commission will not take any responsibility if the application is not received in time. The candidate may also
submit the copy of the printout/hardcopy of the online application along with
requisite certificates and documents etc. by dropping in the box placed at the
entrance of the office of the Odisha Public Service Commission.
