Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) issued Examination Notification of Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2014. UPSC will hold a Written Exam on 13th July 2014 for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo -Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
Eligible Indian National Candidates (Both Male and Female Graduates) are required to submit Online Recruitment Applications (ORA) on or before 12th May 2014 till 11:59 PM.
EXAMINATION NOTICE NO.08/2014-CPF Dated 12-04-2014
Age :- Between 20 to 25 Years as on 1st August 2014
Age Relaxation -> 05 Years for SC / ST; 03 Years for OBC; 05 Years for Civilian Central Government Servants.
Minimum Educational Qualification: A candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.
Centres of Examination: The Examination will be held at the following Centres - Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bareilly, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Dharwad, Dispur, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Jorhat, Kochi, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji (Goa), Patna, Port Blair, Raipur, Ranchi, Sambalpur, Shillong, Shimla, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Udaipur, Vishakhapatnam.
Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore /State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card. The fee excepting Female/SC/ST candidates.
