Indian Army are invited applications for Recruitment to the post of Havildar (Surveyor Automated Cartographer), as per the details given below.
Name of Post :-
No. of Vacancies:- Educational Qualification :-The Minimum educational qualification for appointment will be BA/B Sc with Mathematics or BE / B Tech, having passed 12th Class (10+2) or equivalent with Science and Mathematics as main subjects from a Recognised Board/University.
Age:- 20 to 25 years for civilan candidates and upto 28 years for remustered candidates as on first day of Recruitment Rally.
Scale
of Pay :- On completion of training the Hav (Svy Auto Carto)
will be placed at the minimum pay scale of Rs 5200-20200. In
addition they will be entitled to DA, free accommodation, entitled ration for self, unform, free
medical and leave travel concession for self, family, and dependents, canteen facilities and
other allowances as admissible to the regular Army.
Physical Standard :- Minimum physical standards will be as applicable to the Soldier (General Duty) category. These very depending upon the region of the country. The country has been divided into six regions, e.g Western Himalayan Region, Eastern Himalayan Region, Western Plains Region, Eastern Plains Region, Central Region and Southern Region. The details can be obtained from the nearest HQ Recruiting Zone/Army Recruitment Office/IRO.Mode of Recruitment:-(a) Screening. Screening of the candidates will be carried out from 27 - 28 Oct 2014 at BEG Centre Roorkee.
(i) 1.6 km run in maximum 6.20 minutes.
(ii) Pull Ups (Beam) - minimum of 6.
(iii) Balance - Quality.
(iv) 9 Feet Ditc - Quality.
Medical Standard:- A candidate should have robust physique and mental health, chest should be well developed having minimum 5cm expansion, should have normal hearing with each ear. Should have suffiecent number of natural health gum and teeth, i.e. 14 dental points. Should not have diseases like deformity of bones, hydrocele, varicose veins or piles.
