Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), West Bengal Sector, Kolkata are invited applications from Male and Female Indian citizens who are ordinarily resident of West Bengal, Bihar, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand and Madhya Pradesh for Recruitment to the post of Constable (Technical ,Tradesmen)
i.e. Driver, Fitter, Bugler , Tailor , Brass Band , Pipe Band, Cobbler , Carpenter , Gardener , Painter , Cook , Water Carrier , Safai Karmachari , Barber , Washer Men, as per the details given below.

Qualification:- (i) For CT (Driver): Matriculation or equivalent and should possess “Transport Vehicle” driving license.

(ii) For CT (Fitter): Matriculation/equivalent with 02 years ITI Certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle OR Diploma in Automobile. Candidates shall have one year experience in the trade.

(iii) For rest of all Tradesmen: Matriculation/ equivalent pass and must be proficient in respective trades.

Age:- Between 18 years to 23 years as on 01-01-2015 for all posts except CT (Driver). For CT (Driver) the candidates should be between 21 to 27yrs. Upper age limit is relaxable up to 05 years for SC/ ST candidates and 03 years for OBC candidates. For Ex-serviceman—As per Govt. norms.

Scale of Pay:- Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2000/- plus other allowances as per norms.

Physical Standards:-

Male Candidates:- Height—170cms; Chest (unexpanded/ expanded)—80cms/ 85cms; 

Weight—Correspondence to height and age as per medical standard.

Female Candidates:- Height—157 cms; Chest—Not Applicable; 

Weight—As per medical standard.

Examination Fee (Non-Refundable):- Application fee worth Rs 50/- (Rupees fifty) only is required to be paid by means of crossed IPO/Demand Draft/ Banker's Cheque drawn in favour of the Deputy Inspector General of Police of concerned application receiving centre by the male candidates belonging to General and OBC categories. The IPO/Demand Draft/Banker's Cheque should be purchased/drawn after the date of publication of advertisement and should be payable/en-cashable at Post office/Bank where the application receiving centre is situated. Applications of Male candidates  belonging to General and OBC categories will be straightaway rejected if application fee, as above, is not attached alongwith the application. Candidates belongs SC & ST category, all female candidates and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of application fee.

How to Apply :- Interested & Eligible Candidates may Apply. Prescribed  application form available on  below link. Application forms duly completed in all respects and after affixing latest passport size photographs be sent to the authorities, as mentioned below link, located within the State of domicile of the candidate so as to reach there on or before 1700 hrs on 20/12/2014. It should be superscribed on the envelope that “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE (TECH & TRADES) IN CRPF – 2014”

All candidates will also send four self addressed envelopes of 4” x 9” size duly affixing postage stamps for Rs. 27/- thereon, alongwith their applications.

No other document/testimonials are required to be attached/sent alongwith the application forms except 04(four) self addressed envelopes, each, affixing with postage stamps worth Rs 27/- and application fee as applicable.

To avoid rejection of applications, it is in the interest of the candidates that the candidates should ensure that the IPO/Demand Draft/Banker's Cheque being sent by them are in order and have signatures and seals, etc, wherever required.

Applications received after 20/12/2014 at 1700 hrs will not be accepted/entertained. 

Candidates can also drop their envelopes containing applications in the drop box placed for the purpose at the main gate of the respective application receiving centers. (vii) Name of trade/post applied for should be clearly mentioned in Column No. 12 of the application form. If name of trade/post is not mentioned, then application will be straightaway rejected.

Candidates Must Submit their Applications to the Correct Applications Receiving Centre According to Their State of Domicile. Applications Received in any other Centre/Office will be Rejected Summarily.
