Indian Statistical Institute Kolkata are invited applications for Special Recruitment Drive for Billing up SC/ST/OBC backlog vacancies to the post of Assistant Professor, as per the details given below.

Name of Post:- Assistant Professor

No. of Vacancies:- 36 (SC – 12  ST – 06  OBC – 18)  

Scale of Pay:- Rs.15600­/­- - 39100/­- + GP Rs.8000/­-

Qualification:- a) The candidate must have a Ph. D in the appropriate branch and should ordinarily' have a first class or equivalent at the preceding degree with a very’ good academic record throughout except as provided for in the exemption clause.

b) The candidate should ordinarily have at least 3 years of post-Ph.D. research/ teachings’ industrial experience.

Age Limit:- Preferably below 35 years.
