Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) are invited  Online Recruitment Applications (ORA)for Recruitment by Selection to the Following Posts, as per the details given below.

1. (Vacancy No. 14122101627)
Name of Post:- Deputy Directors of Operations in Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation. 
No. of Vacancies:- Eight (SC-01, OBC-02, UR-05). 
Scale of Pay:- Rs.15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs. 7,600 (Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs.48,024/-Approx.) + TA and HRA as admissible, General Central Service Group 'A', Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. 
Age Limit:- Not more than 50 yrs. 
Qualification:- Degree in Engineering in Aeronautical or Electrical or Electronics discipline(s) from a recognized University; OR Master's degree in Science in the subjects of Electronics or Physics. 
Experience:- Eight years' experience in one or more of the following:- (a) Air Traffic Control with Aerodrome Control or Approach Control or Area Control rating, or (b) Licensing of Aerodromes or Flight Crew or Air Transport, or (c) Management of airside operations of major or international civil airport, or (d) Aircraft flying with Commercial Pilot License, or (e) Aircraft flying in Defence services, or (f) Flight Operations department of a scheduled airlines.

2. (Vacancy No. 14122102327)
Name of Post:- Associate Professor (Arabic) in National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, Pune, Ministry of Defence. 
No. of Vacancies:- One (UR-01). 
Scale of Pay:- Rs.37,400-67,000 +  Rs. 9,000 (Academic Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs.96,048/-Approx.) + TA and HRA as admissible, General Central Service, Group 'A', Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. 
Age Limit:- Not more than 45 yrs.
Qualification:- (i) Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in Arabic. (ii) A Master's Degree in Arabic with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed. (iii) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses and technology mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students. (iv) A minimum score of 300 points as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) by the University Grants Commission. 
Experience:- Minimum of eight years' of experience of teaching and or research in Arabic in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry excluding the period of Ph.D research with evidence of published work and a minimum of five publications as books and or research / policy papers. Explanation:- I) The term "Good Academic Record" means at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade of 'B' in the 7 point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E and F at Master's Degree level in Arabic from an Indian University or an equivalent Degree from accredited foreign University. II) Fulfillment of any one of the conditions stipulated at EQ-A (iii) will be considered sufficient towards requirement of EQ-A(iii). III) Consolidated API score requirement of 300 points from category III of APIs shall be as stipulated by UGC Notification dated 30 Jun 2010 as amended vide UGC notification dated 13 Jun 2013 for the post of Associate Professor. Note I: A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the graduate and master's level for the Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Differently-abled (Physically and visually handicapped) categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic record during direct recruitment to teaching positions. The eligibility marks of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible, based on only the qualifying marks without including any grace mark procedures. Note II: A relaxation of 5% may be provided, from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D. degree holders, who have passed their Master's degree prior to 19th September, 1991.

Name of Post:- Associate Professors (Physics) in National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, Pune, Ministry of Defence. 
No. of Vacancies:- Two (OBC-01, UR-01). The post is suitable for Physically Challenged Persons with disability viz. Orthopedically Handicapped/ Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy with One Leg Affected (Right or Left) (OL) or One Arm Affected (Right or Left) (OA).
Scale of Pay:- Rs.37,400- 67,000 + Rs. 9,000 (Academic Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs.96,048/-Approx.) + TA and HRA as admissible, General Central Service, Group 'A', Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. 
Age Limit:- Not more than 45 yrs.

Name of Post:- Senior Administrative Officers Grade-I in Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence. 
No. of Vacancies:- Five (SC-01, ST-01, OBC-01, UR-02). The posts are suitable for Physically Challenged Persons with disability viz. Blindness or Low Vision with Partially Blind (PB).
Scale of Pay:- Rs. 15,600- 39,100 (PB-3) + Rs. 6,600 (Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs. 45,954/-Approx.) + TA and HRA as  admissible, General Central Service, Group 'A', Gazetted, Ministerial. 
Age Limit:- Not more than 40 yrs.
Qualification:- Degree of a recognized University. 
Experience:- Six years' administrative experience in a Government or Semi Government Organisation or Commercial Organisation of repute.

Qualification:- Degree of a recognized University. 
Experience:- Three years' experience of Administration, Establishment and Accounts work.

Name of Post:- Assistant Directors Grade-II (Economic Investigation) in Office of the Development Commissioner {Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEDO)}, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises-Development Organisation (MSME-DO). 
No. of Vacancies:- Twenty-nine (SC-02, ST-02, OBC-08, UR-17). The posts are suitable for Physically Challenged Persons with disability viz. Orthopedically Handicapped/ Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy with One Arm Affected (Right or Left) (OA). 
Scale of Pay:- Rs.9,300-34,800 (PB-2) + Rs. 4,600 (Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs. 28,773/-Approx.) + TA and HRA as admissible, General Central Service, Group 'B', Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. 
Age Limit:- Not more than 30 yrs.
Qualification:- Master's degree in Economics from a recognized University or equivalent. The term "or equivalent" is defined as M.Com in Economic, Master's in Financial Economics, Master's in International Economics, Master's in Development Economics and Master's in Sustainable Economic Development. 
Experience:- Two years' experience in conducting and guiding investigation/Surveys/Research relating to small scale industries.

7. (Vacancy No. 14122107227)
Name of Post:- Station Officers in Delhi Fire Service, Home Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
No. of Vacancies:- Thirty-nine (SC-05 {Of the 05 posts reserved for Scheduled Castes Candidates, 02 posts are Permanent and 03 posts are Temporary}, ST-03 {Of the 03 posts reserved for Scheduled Tribes Candidates, 02 posts are Permanent and 01 post is Temporary}, OBC-10 { Of the 10 posts reserved for Other Backward Classes Candidates, 05 five posts are Permanent and 05 posts are Temporary}, UR-21 { Of the twenty-one Unreserved posts, 10 posts are Permanent and 11 Posts are Temporary}). 
Scale of Pay:- Rs.9,300-34,800 (PB-2) + Rs. 4,600 (Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs. 28,773/-Approx.) +Special Pay Rs. 1600/- + Washing Allowance:- as admissible + Risk Pay Rs. 150/- + Electricity Allowance:- as admissible + TA and HRA as admissible, Group 'B', Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. 
Age Limit:- Not more than 30 yrs. 
Qualification:- (I) A Degree preferably in science from a recognized university or equivalent. (II) Station Officer's Course of NFSC, Nagpur or Grade-I Fire "E" or equivalent. Divisional Officer Course of NFSC, Nagpur is treated as equivalent to Grade-I Fire "E".
Experience:- Three years' experience in Fire Fighting in Civil/Defence Fire Service Organization/Public Undertaking in the capacity of Sub-Officer or equivalent. A person having Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- and performing the following duties is treated equivalent to Sub Officer:- (i) To reside at the station to which he is posted. (ii) To hold himself in readiness for any duties he may be called for by his superior officers to perform and keep acquainted with all matters coming to his knowledge affecting either his own station or the general business of the service. (iii) To see that the duty Leading Fireman (Order No.6) and fireman posted on gate watch are acquainted with their duties. (iv) To see that all appliances in the station are properly equipped, stored and placed and in every way ready for immediate use. (v) To see that all equipment and appliances for fire extinction are kept clean and in thorough working order. (vi) To report to his superior officer any damage, loss or casualty which may occur. (vii) To instruct and drill the men under his charge daily in the standard drills as laid down. Sundays and holidays are exempted. 
Physical Standards:- Height- 165 cms (relaxation of 5 cms for Hilly Area People); Minimum weight - 50 Kgs, Chest (Normal)- 81 cms, Chest (Expanded) - 86.5 cms OR B (I). Bachelor of Engineering (Fire) from a recognized university/institution or equivalent. (II) Should have Minimum Physical Standard i.e. Height = 165 cms (relaxation of 5 cms for Hilly Area People); Minimum weight - 50 Kgs. Chest (Normal) - 81 Cms. Chest (Expanded) - 86.5 Cms.

Examination Fee (Non-Refundable) :- (a) Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
(b) No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates of any community. No "fee exemption" is available to OBC male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
(c) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.
(d)Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

ii) If the applicant is claiming any experience, then he/she has to personally upload his/ her experience certificate in a single pdf file in such a way that the size file does not exceed 2 MB and is legible when a printout taken. For that the applicant may scan the experience certificate in 200 dpi grey scale.
iii) Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post should apply separately for each post and pay the fee for each post in the prescribed manner.
iv) After submitting the Online Recruitment Application (ORA), the candidates are required to take out a print out of the finally submitted Online Recruitment Application.
v) Candidates are not required to submit to the Commission either by post or by hand the printouts of their online applications or any other document. They will be required to bring along with them the printouts of their online applications and the documents, if called for interview.
vi) The applicants are advised to submit only single Online Recruitment Application for each post; however, if somehow, if he/she submits multiple Online Recruitment Applications for one post, then he/she must ensure that Online Recruitment Application with the higher "Application Number" is complete in all respects including fee.
