Durgapur Chemicals Ltd. (DCL) was incorporated on 31st July 1963 as a public sector company wholly owned by the Government of West Bengal as part of an initiative to develop Durgapur as an industrial hub of West Bengal. DCL started commercial production of Phenol, phthalic anhydride, Monochloro Benzene, Pentachloro Phenol, Caustic Soda, Chlorine and Hydrochloric Acid in the year 1968.

Age Limit: Applicant age for post 1 and 2 should not be more then 50 years, those are applying for post 3 and 4 should not be more the 40 years and candidates those are applying for post 5 should be not more then 30 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed B.E/ B.Tech in Chemical & Mechanical Engineering for post 1, 2, 3 & 5, Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical Engineering with 3 years experience for post 4.
