Ministry of Defence, Government of India is inviting applications for Recruitment to the posts of Assistant Draughtsman, Supervisor Barrack and Store, Civil Motor Driver (OG), Chowkidar, Safaiwala, Chokidar (Khansama), Meter Reader, and Caneman positions in Eastern Command, Western Command, Northern Command, Southern Command, Central Command, and South Western Command, as per the details given below.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam and interview.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 27 years as on 28-September-2015. Relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
Qualification:
Assistant Draughtsman– Candidates must have certificate or diploma in civil engineering from a recognised institute.
Supervisor Barrack and Store– Candidates must be graduate in any stream from a recognised university, and have diploma on material management. OR Candidates should have three years diploma in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical engineering from a recognised institute.
Civil Motor Driver (OG)– Candidates must have passed matriculation or equivalent examination from recognsed board/ university. Candidates should possess valid civil driving for all type of vehicles from state government.
Chowkidar– Candidates must have passed matriculation or equivalent examination from recognsed board/ university.
Safaiwala– Candidates must have passed matriculation or equivalent examination from recognsed board/ university.
Chokidar (Khansama)– Candidates must have passed matriculation or equivalent examination from recognsed board/ university. Candidates must also have diploma in cooking/ catering from any recognised institute.
Meter Reader– Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from recognsed board/ university.
Caneman– Candidates must have passed matriculation or equivalent examination from recognsed board/ university. OR Industrial Training Institute pass certificate from a recognised institute.
Pay Scale:
Rs. 9300-34800/- plus Grade pay of Rs. 4200/- for Supervisor Barrack and Store Post
Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 1900/- for Assistant Draughtsman, Civil Motor Driver (OG), Chokidar (Khansama), and Meter Reader positions.
Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 1800/- for Chowkidar, Safaiwala, and Caneman positions.
