FILLING UP THE POSTs IN BSF ENGG SETUP ON DEPUTATION BASIS
Border Security Force, Ministry of Home Affairs intends to fill following posts in Engg setup as well as NDRF Bns subject to variation of vacancies purely on deputation basis.
2. Selected applicants will be combatised and governed under BSF Act - 1968 & Rules — 1969. They are liable to serve anywhere in India.
3. Nominations of willing and eligible Officers/personnel from your department may be sent to this Directorate through proper channel alongwith their Bio-Data indicating full service particulars, ACR grading of last five year alongwith Xerox copies of ACRs duly attested, Integrity Certificate and Disc/Vigilance clearance certificate so as reach the DIG(Estt), HQ DG BSF, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, Block No. 10, New Delhi — 110003. The eligible criteria for the posts are mentioned below:
A) Junior Engineer Gde-I(Civil)f Inspector - (Pay Band 2: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade pay Rs. 4600/-
i) Serving Border Security Force personnel with 03 years Diploma in Civil Engineering in the rank of Sub-Inspector and having 03 years experience in the Engineering setup of BSF.
ii) Serving Border Security Force personnel in the rank of Inspector having 03 years Diploma in Civil Engineering with 03 years experience in Civil Engineering.
ii) Central Govt./State Govt. servant holding analogous post and having 03 years Diploma in Civil Engineering with 03 years experience as Junior Engineer(Civil) or Junior Engineer(Civil) in the grade of Rs. 5000-8000 (pre revised) with six years regular service under Central/State Govt.
B) Junior Enqineer/ Inspector(Elect) ( Pay Band 2: Rs. 9300- 34800 + Grade pay Rs. 4600/-)
i) Serving Border Security Force personnel in the rank of Inspector having 03 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central or State Governments with three years experience in Electrical Engineering.
or
ii) Serving Border Security Force personnel in the rank of Sub Inspector having 05 years regular service in the grade and having 03 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central or State Governments with three years experience in the Engineering setup of BSF; failing which
iii) Central Govt./State Govt. servant holding analogous post on regular basis and having 03 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central or State Governments with 03 years experience as Junior Engineer(Electrical) in the grade of Rs. 9300-34800 plus Grade pay Rs. 4200 with 05 years regular service in the grade.
C) Inspector (Draftsman Grade-I) (Pay Band 2: Rs. 9300- 34800 ÷ Grade pay Rs. 4600/-) From amongst officers of the Central Govt. or State Govt.
a) Holding analogous post on regular basis; or
b) With 03 years regular service in the grade of Rs.5500-9600 (pre revised) and having Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with 03 years experience; or
c) With 06 years regular service in the grade of Rs. 5000- 8000 (Pre revised).
