Detailed Information and Qualification for Posts under ‘A’
Superintendent, Press; 1 post
[Pay Band Rs. 15,600 – 39,100/- + G.P. Rs. 6,000/-] 
    Essential Qualifications:
i)                    Uniformly good academic record with a Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks  or its equivalent grade in the point scale wherever a grading system is followed.
ii)                  For graduates with degree / diploma in Printing Technology, the Master’s Degree may be waived.
iii)                At least 5 years experience in printing and publication and in Management of Printing Press.
iv)                Maximum age limit – 37 years. Relaxable in the case of exceptionally qualified candidates. 
Programmer – 1 post (Computer Centre) [Pay Band Rs. 15,600 – 39,100/- + G.P. Rs. 6,000/-]   
Essential Qualifications:
i)                    M.Sc/M.Tech/MCA with good knowledge of FORTRAN, BASIC, C++, JAVA and Assembly Language (Intel Processors).
ii)                  The candidates must have atleast one year experience in application programme development for scientific/commercial applications.
iii)                Maximum age limit – 37 years. Relaxable in case of exceptionally qualified candidates.Techincal Officer –( I)– 1 Post (University Science & Instrumentation Centre)

Essential Qualification:

i.                    M.Sc in Physics with specialization in Electronics or Optro-electronics Instrumentation, B.E./B.Tech in Electronics/Computer Science/Electrical/IT.
ii.                  Two years experience in working with research instruments in a recognized laboratory.
iii.                Maximum age limit – 37 years. Relaxable in case of exceptionally qualified candidates.

 System Manager – 1 post (Computer Centre)

Essential Qualifications:
  1. M.E. / M.Tech / M.Sc. (Computer Science) or MCA with uniformly good academic records and with B+ at Master’s Degree level or its equivalent.
  2. Minimum 10 (ten) years experience in Network Management, Software Development, Hardware Maintenance at an Institute of Higher Learning / Industry, of which  at least three years should be in the pay scale of Reader or equivalent.
Maximum age limit-50 years. Relaxable in case of exceptionally qualified candidate

Senior Scientific Research Officer – 1 post (High Energy & Cosmic Ray Centre)
[Pay Band Rs. 37,400 – 67,000/- + G.P. Rs. 10,000/-]
Essential Qualifications:
  1. M.Sc in Physics with specialization in Nuclear Physics and Cosmic Ray / High   Energy Cosmic Ray Physics with uniformly good academic records and with B+ at Master’s Degree level or its equivalent.
  2. Ph.D. in Physics preferably in the field of High Energy & Cosmic Ray Physics / High Energy Physics (Experimental).
  3. Minimum 10 (ten) years of Research experience in experimental Research in High Energy Cosmic Ray Physics / High Energy Physics of which, at least three years should be in the pay scale of Reader or equivalent.
  4. Should be actively engaged in research with evidence of published research work of high quality.
  5. Maximum age limit-50 years. Relaxable in case of exceptionally qualified candidate.
Technical Officer (III) – 1 post (University Science & Instrumentation Centre)

Essential Qualifications:
M.E. / M.Tech in Instrumentation / Electronic Engineering or Optics and Opto-Electronics or M.Sc. in Instrumentation Science or Applied Physics with uniformly good academic records and with B+ at Master’s Degree level or its equivalent.Ph.D. in Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering / Applied Physics / Physics.Minimum 8 (Eight) years experience at an Institute of Higher Learning / Industry of which, five years should be in the pay scale of Assistant Professor or equivalent.The candidate should have research experience with high quality publications in instrumentation and / or patents related to new design and process instrumentation.
Maximum age limit-50 years. Relaxable in case of exceptionally qualified candidate.

Secretary, Faculty Council for PG Studies in Arts, Commerce & Law – 1 post

Essential Qualifications:
  1. Uniformly good academic records with a Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale wherever a grading system is followed.
  2. Atleast 10 (Ten) years of experience in a position involving supervision, control and planning of admission/ examination/administration/ teaching in college/University/ Government Organization or other Higher Academic Bodies of which 5 (Five) years in the pay scale of  Assistant Professor or equivalent.
  3. Maximum age limit-42 years. Relaxable in case of exceptionally qualified candidate.
System Engineer – 1 posts (Computer Centre)

   Essential Qualifications:
  1. M.Sc or M.E. or M.Tech. or MCA in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Electronic Science & Telecommunication with uniformly good academic record and B+ at Master’s Degree level or its equivalent.
  2. Experience in System Engineering and Support activity in responsible position of Computer Centre of an institute of Higher Learning / University / Government Organization / Industry / other higher academic bodies of which, 8 (Eight) years in the pay scale of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
  3. Maximum age limit-42 years. Relaxable in case of exceptionally qualified candidates.
Electro Instrumentation Officer – 1 post (Department of Chemistry)

Essential Qualifications:
M.Sc / M.Tech Two years experience in the Operation and maintenance of Infrared, Un-visible Spectrophotometre, Polarographs, Flame Photometre, Ozonator and other sophisticated instruments.Working knowledge in electronics.Ability to design and fabricate equipments.Maximum age limit 37 years. Relaxable in case of exceptionally qualified candidate.
Micro Analyst – 1 post (Department of Chemistry)

Essential Qualifications:
  1. M.Sc in Chemistry (at least second class)
  2. At least 2(Two) years experience in Microanalysis in a recognized laboratory or institute.

University Librarian – 1 Post

Essential Qualification:(As per UGC regulation the applicants need to have required API Score)
  1. A Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and consistently good academic record as set out in UGC Regulations, 2010.
  2. At least 13 (thirteen) years of experience as a Deputy Librarian in a University Library or 18 (eighteen) years of experience as a College Librarian.
  3. Evidence of innovative library services and organization of published work.
  4. Maximum age limit-50 years. Relaxable in the case of exceptionally qualified candidates.
