Graduates with Mathematics and at least one
of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects may also apply,
or
B) must have passed in the first or second
division, the Higher Secondary (12 years) Examination under 10 plus 2 pattern of
School Education with Mathematics and at least one of
the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination, or
C) must have passed the first year Examination
under the three year degree course of a university or the first examination of
the three year diploma course in Rural Service of the National Council for
Rural Higher Educationor the
third year Examination for promotion to the 4th year of the four year
B.A./B.Sc. (Evening College) Course of the Madras University with Mathematics
and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the
examination provided that before joining the degree/diploma course he passed
the Higher Secondary examination or the Pre-University or equivalent
examination in the first or second division.
Candidates who have passed the first/second
year examination under the three-years degree course in the first or second
division with Mathematics and either Physics or Chemistry as subjects of the
Examination may also apply; provided the first/second year examination is
conducted by a University; or
D) Must have passed in the first or second
division the Pre-Engineering Examination of a University, approved by the
Government of India; or
E) Must have passed in the first or second
division the Pre-Professional/Pre-Technological Examination of any Indian
University or a recognised Board, with Mathematics and at least, one of the
subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination conducted one
year after the Higher Secondary or Pre-University stage; or
F) Must have passed the first year
examination under the five year Engineering Degree Course of a University :
Provided that before joining the Degree Course, he passed the Higher Secondary
Examination or pre-University or equivalent examination in the first or second
division.
Candidates who have passed the first year
Examination of the five-year Engineering Degree Course in the first or second
division may also apply provided the first year Examination is conducted by a
University; or
G) Must have passed in the first or second
division the Pre-Degree Examination of the Universities of Kerala and Calicut
with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as
subjects of the examination.
Examination Fee (Non-Refundable) :- Rs. 100/-
(Rupees one Hundred only)
The fee can be paid through depositing challan form/Registration Form in any
State Bank of India or its associate bank’s branch. Using of SBI net banking or
Visa/Master Cards can also be availed by the candidates for making payment.
How to Apply :-a) Candidates must apply online through the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected.
b) If the applicant is claiming any experience, then he/she has to personally upload his/her experience certificate in a single pdf file in such a way that the size file does not exceed 2 MB and is legible when a printout taken. For that the applicant may scan the experience certificate in 200 dpi grey scale.
c) Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post should apply separately for each post and pay the fee for each post in the prescribed manner.
d) After submitting the Online Recruitment Application (ORA), the candidates are required to take out a print out of the finally submitted Online Recruitment Application.
e) Candidates are not required to submit to the Commission either by post or by hand the printouts of their online applications or any other document. They will be required to bring along with them the printouts of their online applications and the documents mentioned in para 7 below if called for interview.
f) The applicants are advised to submit only single Online Recruitment Application for each post; however, if somehow, if he/she submits multiple Online Recruitment Applications for one post, then he/she must ensure that Online Recruitment Application with the higher "Application Number" is complete in all respects including fee. The applicants, who submit multiple Online Recruitment Applications, should note that only the Online Recruitment Application with higher "Application Number" shall be entertained by the Commission and fee paid against one "Application Number" shall not be adjusted against any other "Application Number".
g) The candidates are advised to submit the Online Recruitment Application well in advance without waiting for the closing date.
The registration process will be considered completed if he/she fills all the particulars related to personal, educational and transactional details etc provided in the form. The completion of Registration process will be through online way. Candidates need to register themselves for the Exam through visiting the official website of the UPSC official website at www.upsconline.nic.in.

Candidates need to select the Part I of Application by
clicking on the link as “Click Here below Part I Registration of desired
service.”
Fill all mandatory details in Part I of Application and make
the payment.
Revisit the same webpage after making payment online or
offline.
This time candidates need to click on “Part II Registration”
link.
Once again fill all the mandatory details in art II of
Application.
Now upload the scanned Photograph and Signature and submit
your application.
Take print out of Online Application and keep it for further
use.
